Excerpt: [on sharing what one of his collogues told him] “Self Defense deals with the onset of Violence, the beginning of the violent moment. Basically the engagement, the first punch thrown etc… If you are amazing at self defense maybe you did your 360, maybe you nailed them with a punch, situation over. But, more often than not, that self defense moment turns into a fight. So he defines self defense and fighting as self defense the kind of before to the beginning and fighting as the during and maybe a little bit after.”
